A virtual hearing was being held Wednesday morning for Cortez Rice, a community activist charged with harassment whose son was killed yesterday in the Richfield shooting. His lawyer Kordan Kushner argued to have him released from workhouse.
There were 350+ observers in the Zoom including Brooklyn Center Mayor Mike Elliott.
The judge will rule on the motion to dismiss in 48 hours. He denied the motions for transfer and home monitoring.
The Zoom hearing was terminated prematurely due to viewer outburst in support of Cortez.
